Los Angeles: Absurdist piece about a rural community of clueless cretins who careen through life like poorly played pinballs represents the definition of the comedy of condescension and ridicule. Lots of laughs for those who enjoy sight of bottom dwellers doing stupid things. Could easily be a pic that hits big at Sundance but can’t find its way in the real world.
