Burning Brides Rise From The ’Ashes’
Rock trio Burning Brides will on June 29 release its second V2 album, "Leave No Ashes." The set was produced by the group with George Drakoulias (Black Crowes, Tom Petty). It’s the follow-up to 2002’s "Fall of the Plastic Empire," which was supported on tours with Audioslave, Queens Of The Stone Age and the White Stripes, as well as last summer’s Lollapalooza. The set is another helping of the Brides’ high-octane rock’n’roll, led by opener and first single "Heart Full of Black," which bears traces of Cheap Trick and the Who. The trio is currently on tour in North America opening for A Perfect Circle; the trek plays Virginia Beach, Va., tonight (May 12). Afterward, the group is hoping to head to Europe before returning for additional North American shows as the summer progresses. Here are Burning Brides’ tour dates: May 12: Virginia Beach, Va.
