Mediaweek.com - Based on second quarter 2004, CBS' Late Show With David Letterman scored its best household rating since 2001, most-watched second quarter since 1997, and highest ratings in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 2002. Comparatively, Letterman year-to-year was up three percent in households (3.0/ 8 to 3.1/ 8), 270,000 viewers (386,000 to 413,000), seven percent in adults 18-49 (1.4/ 6 to 1.5/ 7), and six percent among adults 25-54 (1.7/ 7 to 1.8/ 8).
