That's exactly what happens in "Sex," a self-obsessed, pretentious and sluggish piece about a bunch of nuclear survivors sitting round a table swapping stories. Offbeat premise remains unfulfilled thanks to pic's failure to comply with most of the basic rules of filmmaking, signaling slim offshore prospects beyond experimental fest sidebars.
