Film Reviews: Marziyeh Meshkini’s "Stray Dogs" expresses concern over Afghanistan’s poor and disinherited in its drama about two young children left to fend for themselves on the streets of Kabul. The sentiment turns saccharine and the images are disturbingly obvious. Still, this direct approach will appeal to some arthouse auds.
