Hi,
I’m back and with another great egg on Lighter Bombs!
The thig that is good with these ideas that they are inexpensive and easy to make. This lighter bomb well Create A Giant fireball. Dont worry, This wont be hard I have also Included pictures.
Ok I’ll run down the explosion sizes with the different types of Lighters, Having the following:
Small Bic A small bic would let off a fireball to the size of 10 - 12 cm!
Medium-Small bic A medium-small bic would let off a firball at least 30-35cm
Regular Bic A Regular Bic would let off a fireball 50-70cm
Ok First off we need our materials!
1. 2 lighters!
2. Wire
3. Tape (Electrical, duct ect)
Ok get your Lighter! As you can see from the image below I am not using a bic but it has the same effect! I have a clear lighter (Which you dont need to have) A it also has the feature of the gas leveler (which controls how much butane goes out) You will usually have the symbol situated to the left and the Situated To the right!
Ok Now the first thing we have to do is take the metal casing off the top of the lighter! You will be able to take it off by wriggling it out with a knife or even from your hands!
Now focus on that lever I was talking about earlier. This controls the butane and plays a special roll in this fireball. Near the end of this egg A graph will show you how this works!
Now we move to the button situated on the end of the lighter (below in photo) This is our next target where we place our wire!
Ok I got this wire off a sparkler! I usually keep my wire if I use a sparkler because It comes in handy. Heres the wire that I used for my Lighter Bomb!
Now get your lighter and curve the wire around it, twist it up nice and tight! The curve it around the gas button (which lets out the butane) So when you are finished you should have a lighter which automaticaly sprays butane! Sorry about the black stuff on my hands I think that was from a sparkler.
Ok to keep the wire inplace and tight tape up the bottom with electrical tape! This always does the job!
Method Of Detonation Ok, Our main mission is for the lighter to burn through the plastic casing below and hit the butane to ignite! Leaving it standing upright will take a while for it to explode while leaving it at a 45 degree angle will make the process quicker! Here is my estimation of how long it will take to explode using the following methods:
Standing Upright Having your gas flow on minimum would take 5-10 minuites to ignite!
Having your gasflow on Medium would take 3-5 minuites to ignite!
Having your gas flow on maximum would take 1-3 minuites to ignite!
Standing on a 45 degree angle! Having your gas flow on minimum would take around 3-5 minuites to ignite.
Having your lighter set to medium would take around 1-3 minuites to ignite.
Having your lighter set to maximum would take 60 seconds or less.
I found mine went faster when the cassing was coated in mineral turpintine. Also having it near a heat source will make it go quicker.
Once done Set your lighter ablaze!

What Happened This is what happened:
Well everything went well accept the camera. I set the camera to auto-take which allows it to take alot of photos automaticaly. Unfortanatly The camera didnt have the right settings so the photos apear to be blue! I usually have good photo quality but this time I didnt. And I’m sorry for that,

Jul 09, 2005 11:10 pm - Best egg of the day! Granted, that doesn’t say much, this was really good. And the pictures were really helpful, and not too large, so the welfare check cashing eggtards on dial-up can download them too.
