The accidentally sent email trick
I receive a lot of scam letters in any given week. I sent the same fake ASEM reply to all of the scam emails in my inbox. The idea is that some of the smart scammers will take advantage of the ASEM; he will try to take over the scam by pretending that he is the person the email was meant for and he will try to continue from where the other scammer has left off.
I replied to about 20-30 scam emails with this message and picture attachment
Quote:
where the hell have you been all this time? I was beginning to suspect that you have abandoned our business and stole the money that my collegue’s boss had invested.
Mr. Sosay has already sent you 2,600$ for the forms of affidavit and we have not received any proof that you have retreived them from the judge yet. Then your partner mr. Mmuo has the nerve to ask for 5,000$ more for bribing some officials that he cannot even name the job title of. what kind of bullshit is that?
I have already explained to you that Mr. Sosay is going to be reluctant to loan you guys any more money untill you can give him some proof that you are indeed a real business man who works at the Bank of Nigeria. You have not even sent us 1 picture of your face or 1 identification card of any type. what kind of banker are you to not provide these things?
I have re-attached the fax which Mr. Bolten had sent me 2 weeks ago. If you want to continue trying to retreive this money from the trunk boxes then you had better produce the picture that Keiser Sosay has requested. Please read the detailed instructions provided in the fax and arrange to have the picture taken ASAP.
The first responder was so smart that he made new email addresses with the names of the scammer mentioned in my ASEM, and with the name of the Bank Of Nigeria. He apoligised and provided me the form of affidavit that he owed me. I told him that the forms are worthless without the picture which my investor has required.
What if they make up excuses for why the picture can’t get taken?
Just respond with something like this.
Quote:
Those forms don’t mean much without the picture that I ABSOLUTELY MUST have. Can I make this any more clear to you? Mr. Sosay is old and practically senile, he does not care about your forms and rubbish excuses. He wants to see your faces and your professional ability to do what he asks.
Quote:
I am sorry but I cannot have the money sent untill the photo that Mr. Bulton has requested is taken. He has made it very clear what he wants. I am not the investor so i have no control over this issue. If you wish to proceed then you will have to find time to get the photo taken.
The icing on the cake
Quote:
If you cannot get the picture for him then I am afraid that ths deal is over. and I must apoligise in advance for wasting your time as you have wasted my time alike.
I finally get this from him Crap, total crap!
He gets a nasty responce to his crappy photo

I received the picture of "you" in front of the bank sign, but it is completely unacceptable.
In the fax that I forwarded to you from Mr. Bulton, there were 4 lines of specific instruction on how the picture is supposed to look. You have accomplished NONE of them!!!
--It specifically asked for a banner. you were holding a little peice of paper.
--the letters were specifically supposed to be large and red. yours were hardly even legible at all
--"bankers" is a plural word. you took a picture of only 1 person, which does not qualify for multiple people. I thought that you and Mr. Mmuo were supposed to be standing together? when I spoke with you on the phone a few weeks ago you said that the picture had already been taken. And now you give me this crap!
--they should be smiling and looking professional. you look like you are standing in front of a firing squad in that picture.
I am now very glad that Mr. Bulton has required this photo to be taken. It has overwealmingly prooved that you are incapable of accomplishing a simple and professional task. I am starting to suspect that you are not even a banker at all. I am not going to tell Mr. Bulton about this complete failure to produce his requested photo, I am instead going to give you 2 weeks to produce the photo properly or I will cancel all contact with you and this project.
The phone call
He finally demanded that I call him on the phone. I usually don’t give into scammer’s demands, but I wanted to try out my annoying NewYork accent. I called him from a safe VOIP phone line. I yelled at him for being incopetent and I just kept ranting on about how I need the new photo. He told me that he couldn’t get a new one and he hung up on me.
I emailed him right after and said that we can’t do business any further.
But guess who finally came through the very next day
