This tutorial will show you how to create a simple tech border.
Open the sig that you want to add the tech border to.
Add a new layer on top and fill it with black(#000000).
Grab your "Polygonal Lasso Tool"
Now hold "shift" and move your tool to where you want the line for the border and click it.(keep going until you come to the point where you started at, then double click to finish your selection )
Now go to "edit" then "cut".
Go to "Blending Options" and use theses settings:
Blend mode: Soft Light
Drop Shadow: Opacity 70-75% , Distance 3, Spread 0, Size 5
Inner Shadow: Opacity 60-65%, Distance 5, Choke 0, Size 5
Bevel and Emboss: Depth 1-2, Size 0, Soften 0
Stroke: Size 1, Opacity 50% (Chose a color that flows with your sig)
Then use your "Rectangular and Elliptical Marquee tool" to make your border look good. (cut out some of the figures)
Your border should now be similar to my tech border.
Add some text and whatever else you fell like adding.
Here is my finished sig.
