Ok, this is my first egg in a while, (not my first), so here goes. For this egg, I’ll be using a photo designed by my freind, but you can use any picture you find.
Step 1.
Find a picture, you can look on the web, stock photos, or even a book. Once you find one, save/scan it in to your computer.
Step 2.
Open up the image in Photoshop, or Paintshop. I’ll be using painshop, but both have pretty much the same features. Then go to "Ajust"/"Hue and Saturation"/"colorize". Set both hue and saturation to zero and press ok.
Now click on Ajust/ Brightness and Contrast/ Brightness and contrast, and set the contrast a bit higher.
Step 3.
Ok, now save the picture and get a program called Ace poster. Anything similar to it would also work. You can get the trial from aceposter.com and then order it, or download a crack for it. Anyways, open up your picture in Ace poster and select how big you want it, then print.
Step 4.
Now that you have it on paper use spray adhesive, or a glue stick and glue the papers (aligned) onto an apropriatley sized poster board, cardboard, cereal box etc. Then begin cuting along the black with a sharp blade.
Step 5.
Ok, now for equipment. The mandatory items are Spray paint and tape or spray adhesive. Some things i recommend are gloves, back pack, bike, resporator.
IF you want to get a air mask get the kind with 2 organic filter, not the cheap, flimsy medical ones, because they acctually absorb the fumes, causing you to breath in a more consentrated form of the toxin, although they do protect you from particals, the fumes are the cause of illnesses. I recommend one like this, I got it at home depot for around 30$ not too bad.
Now all that’s left is spraying it, I would avoid personal property (ie. neighbors garage, garbage can, house, etc.) find some place where people wouldn’t mind, like a back ally or electrical boxes.
So that’s about it, if you guys like this, I might make a multi layer tutorial, comments or questions?
nigga out,
BLud ninja |

 | Jan 25, 2007 6:45 pm - lol what the fuck, i didnt even notice |

 | Jan 25, 2007 7:07 pm - Nice egg man. -5- Making it out of cardboard, it’s not gonna last very long, running around back alleys with it and what not. I’ve made some out of thin plastic, like the kind used in packaging, it’s alot more durable. Finding a piece that big would be hard but it works good for more compact designs, and it won’t rip or bend. But ya good egg. |
