This tutorial will show you how to add Logonscreens and Bootscreens with ease. I’ll make it quick so it won’t be like "How to add fonts with 20 pictures and 30 steps. Also if you have something retarded to say like "OMHGZZZ THIS MY EGG -1*!!" or "YOU COPIEDZ!!" Please leave and go shoot yourself. I did not copy any egg. I Just want people to learn how to make XP a little more cooler! :)" I Do Not Take Responsibility For Anything That Happens TO Your Computer, Follow The Directions Right And There Won’t Be Any Problems" To download bootscreens and logonscreens go to http://www.belchfire.net
Installing Logon Screens
Step One: Go to C:\\Windows\\System32 and find the file named ’logonui.exe’ Step 2: Rename ’logonui.exe’ to ’logonui.exe.bak’ just incase anything happens, now take the logonscreen you downloaded and place it into C:\\Windows\\System32 and rename it to logonui.exe. Now Reboot and Enjoy!
Installing Bootscreens Be a little more careful on this one, your system could lock up and you would have to restore if you do it wrong
Step One: Go to C:\\Windows\\System32 and find the file named ’ntoskrnl.exe’
Step Two: Now copy (NOT RENAME!) the ’ntoskrnl.exe’ file, then rename that copy to ’ntoskrnl.exe.bak’
Step Three: Now take the downloaded bootscreen and place them anywhere on the hard drive EXCEPT the C:\\Windows\\System32 folder, then reboot your computer in safe mode (keep pressing f8 when you turn on the computer) then go to where you put the files for your new boot screen select the correct file to copy to C:\\Windows\\System32.If you have SP1 for Windows XP installed use ntoskrnlsp.exe, otherwise use ntoskrnl.exe.IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE THE CORRECT FILE, OR YOUR SYSTEM WILL LOCK UP ON BOOT. NOW REBOOT AND ENJOY!!!!!!!
Lol, how to install themes
Step One: Go to C:\\Windows\\Resources\\Themes and extract your downloaded theme into there! Now how easy can that be?
Mar 06, 2007 8:31 pm - Pretty nice egg. Good pics. Explained well. Disclaimer. Just for the format alone you deserve at least a 4*. I’ll give you a 5* cuz I like the fact that you don’t need any other programs to do it.
Mar 06, 2007 10:20 pm - With this method, weather you like it or not, Mr. Gates can see that you fucking with his shit and fuck it up. Also, XP was made so you cant do this and with making a new file one day, your pc wont start up.
