In this egg I will show you how a basic guide on how to take fingerprints off of a flat surface.
Materials needed ~ Pencil lead
~ A Coin of some sort
~ A brush or feather
~ Clear Tape
~ And a sheet of paper
Step One
Sharpen a pencil and break the tip off, or get some mechanical pencil lead and break into small bits.
Step Two
Grab your coin and start to crush up your pencil lead until it becames a fine powder, and pour it onto the sheet of paper.
Step Three
Pour the crushed pencil lead onto the fingerprint, the pencil lead will stick to the oils of the fingerprint.
Step Four
Using the brush or feather, dust off the crushed pencil lead, and you will see a fngerprint.
Step Five
Grab your tape and press it down on top of the fingerprint for a moment lift the tape up and stick it to the peice of paper.
And you are done, if you followed my steps you should have a decent looking fingerprint on a piece of paper.

Feb 11, 2008 9:34 am - 5* but the lead should be ground down EXTREMELY finely so it can accurately ’draw’ a fingerprint or the picture will be very ’pixelated’
