I realize that this may not be the best place to talk about my experience at the Cow Palace this past weekend as there may be small children that would become corrupted by some older guy talking about the rave he went to. I really don’t care about all the crap other people talk about San Francisco. This city is so awesome. Where else could you have a rave with 10,000 plus people? And if you have not been to one, I recommend finding one real quick because their days may be numbered (except here in the bay area). No I didn’t eat any drugs or drink even though I could have. Anyway, they had this army of security staff wearing yellow shirts and so I’m standing in the VIP line (cause I’m just cool like that) and the flyer says the party starts at 5pm. Of they open the gates at 6:15pm and the security guards are like no studded belts along with like 100 other items that you weren’t allowed to take in. So, I go to the VIP sectionand get my free drink (pint of rockstar) hide it in the pocket of my UFO pants. So then, I’m standing there listening to some pretty good trance music and this fat lady guard comes up to me and starts talking. I don’t understand a single thing she says cause I’m wearing earplugs but then she yells in my ear that I have to dump my drink in the trash even though there’s like 500 other people walking around with drinks and vendors selling them in the same room. What really bothered me was the way she kept looking at my white flare UFO whenever she was walking around.
Rave was still good though. Dieselboy just tore it up. That was funny too because he came on right after a hip-hop set. I’m not saying this like I’m racist or anything but after he put on the first record the room literally went from black to white so quickly I didn’t even see it happen.
