So today I went to a junkyard and found a whole bunch of Mason Jars with lids and all. I took them but realized I had no real use for them and just tinkered around with ideas. I ended with a Incense Holder that holds more than one stick and you can just store the rest inside the jar. Kind of handy if you use incense a lot since and you don’t have to change the sicks all the time. When they are all used up you just empty the ashes on the lid in the trash.
Materials
- Hammer
- Nail
- Mason Jar
- Incense
Get your nail (make sure it is a little bit smaller that the incense stick) and punch about ten to fifteen holes in the lid with the hammer.
Oh thats nice.
Now get your incense and put it in the jar. If its real long then just break some off. You don’t need the stick part so make sure you do that end if you need to.
Should look something like this.
Go ahead and put them in. I don’t have a lot but you can fill it all the way. It can hold quite a lot.
Now put some sticks in the top holes. One stick per hole, not that hard. make sure it has a snug fit but don’t force it or you’ll tear the incense up.
Finished product.
Now you can just light them whenever you want. One or two or all of them if your feeling bad ass. Mix colors or do whatever you want. Once they are all used up go to the trash can and turn it over and replace the old ones.
