To start off, I am a very angry person. I don’t take it out on the people around me, though. I usually let it sit inside and boil until eventually I do something drastic. the worst thing i’ve ever done was break a glass window with my fist, i know that’s not too bad, but it was because my gym team sucked at this stupid made up sport our gym teacher madee us do (capture the flag with dodgeball and freezetag...gayyyy). Thats where i came up with several methods i use to calm down. Now you’re probably all thinking "well i just masturbate." yeah well, if you just masturbate and you feel okay then you don’t have that bad of a temper or stress problems. Twice a week (usually after gym class) i go see the counselor for anger management. she has me usually go to the weight room and i hit the punching bag a few hundred times. this doesn’t always help me with my anger, so here is what i do:
1. Split wood. (stress and anger)
for me, getting tired doesn’t relieve my anger, so sports don’t help. i have the need to do something "productive".i feel the need to destroy something, so i started to split wood.
just take an ax and chop down some trees or split some logs, this helps both stress and anger.
2. sleep before you act. (both)
if something really pisses you off, just take at least one nights good rest before you act on it. i promise you won’t feel the same way in the morning.
3. running (stress)
self explanatory, when i get really tired out it stops me from worrying about things.
4. reading/ watching movie (stress)
this helps gets your mind off of things. don’t watch a whole movie if upset about a big exam or something, but take ten minutes and watch the weather channel or something.
4. golf (anger mostly)
just find an open field or area and swing away. don’t go onto a course (this won’t help) just try to hit as many golf balls as you can as far away as possible.
5. explosives (anger)
for me, just making explosives and setting them off helps reduce my anger so much.
6. friends (both)
being able to have someone that will listen to you rant and rave about stuff really helps.
7. heavy metal (anger)
listening to songs like omerta, toxicity, and countless other songs makes me feel a lot better. it’s almost like the loud music takes away my feelings for me.
8. Bob Marley (both)
what can i say, marley will make every little thing be alright.
9. hunting (both)
not killing little animals, but the hunt itself is what really helps, the focus, the entertainment, the solitude, great way to help yourself.
10. sleep. (both)
like i said before, sleep will help you not worry and will totally help you relax
11. shower. stress
showers whether they’re cold or hot, helps to sooth you.
There’s lots of other ways to help with your stress and or anger. if you have any good one’s, feel free to post away.

Construction and destruction are the two greatest things for stress. Explosives are a two in one deal. John Leguizamo had a joke about his wife calling the cops on him because he would hit a metal pole with a hammer to relieve stress.
Apr 20, 2008 1:08 pm - yeah,,, to be honest, this was a half assed egg. i cut it somewhat short because my family had to leave for canada (which i will be posting an egg on soon) so it really isn’t as good as it could have been. rate it what you like, but i figured it could help some people with anger and stress issues.
Apr 20, 2008 1:14 pm - oh and,,, another thing i do when i’m about to "pop" is to bite my tongue hard, or i bend my finger to the point where it feels like its about to break(it won’t but it hurts). the point is to cause yourself minor pain, which helps.

I did that exact thing after this dumbass asian woman destroyed my hair...I asked her for an inch off and she cut off 5 inches (leaving half an inch of uneven hair). I swear I wanted to murder her, but after I split some wood, I seriously felt a lot more relaxed. I did cut her throat regardless.

Apr 22, 2008 10:46 pm - Whenever I get really pissed, I accidentally clench my teeth, real hard, to the point where I realize I am hurting myself, and if I’m in a fight, afterwards, my whole jaw aches.
Like you, i am an angry person. sports don’t help, or any physical activity for that matter. Here are a couple of things that help me though.
1. Meditation - You don’t have to sit cross-leggeed humming and chanting to meditate. Meditation is simply visualization, channeling your mind into what drives you and motivates you to succeed. If you are angry, just meditate about positives in your life.
2. Focusing- as i said before, physical activities don’t help me. I do need to excert my mind, however. Personally, if i channel all my cranial activity into one thing, I am much more productive and this time greatly reduces anger.
Don’t let nebody give u shit on this egg. Its a good egg. All these dumbasses saying "that shit doesn’t work for me....." didn’t read the part where you said "this is what orks for me.."
