Mar 08, 2009 7:30 pm - This doesn’t actually take up much more memory than standard. The main transformation, the "Vistamizer" just replaces the basic windows files, and it takes no more memory to load the new images and sounds than it does to load the old ones. TrueTransparency doesn’t seem to have affected the memory usage or speed of my computer at all. (I have a memory monitor thing running in the corner constantly.) Aero 3D takes a second to kick in for me when I press the keys, but I’m pretty sure that’s just the terrible laptop I’m on. It doesn’t affect the ammount of memory being used, and hasn’t slowed down any other aspect of my computer. And the objectdock, I’ve had that for years now so can’t compare as easily, but from the brief time when I reformatted and didn’t have it, I would judge that any impact it has on memory usage is not even noticeable. And lol, no, I didn’t do this to try and monopolize the Egg Spotlight. I’ve been planning on doing this egg for quite a while, but this is me only just getting round to it. I’ve been saying I had some egg ideas up my sleeve for a while now, well this is one of them! Probably the best so don’t get too excited, lol. Thanks for the fives! =)

Mar 08, 2009 8:23 pm - MhF4LiFe -Fuck you, you pathetic fucking waste of space. If you knew how much time and effort I put into this you would cry. I wrote every single word of this, took and cropped every picture (apart from the screenshot of the Welcome Screen), compiled it all into one massive image, cut that image into 21 parts so that I could make different parts link to different sites, and fucked around with the coding to put all the bits of picture in the right place and to make sure I had all the links in the correct place. In the Shock Aero 3d pic, you can plainly see one window is RE, logged into my account with my avatar on display. Behind that, you can see parts of the image in photoshop as I was working on it to create this egg. And no, I’m not "advertising" the programs. I’m just simply trying to share them with other people who might prefer a flashier operating system. Stop being such a bitter twisted fuck, just because all your eggs genuinely suck and everyone on RE hates you. Why don’t you just grow the fuck up ad leave instead of acting like a fucking prick? Here’s a trick guys: If you set your theme to one of these vista Aero themes, then uninstall it, you can keep the theme (Like the toolbar and the start menu) but all your icons go back to XP, which will save some memory. Good egg 5* Combine this with my egg to add the vista’s ALT+Tab program flip and you’ll have vista with A LOT more memory than the actual vista.

I hadn’t seen your egg, but I’ve just checked it out and saw that you do it the same way I do! Except your pics and link don’t work, lol :P Also, the talk of themes confuses me with respect to Vistamizer, are we using the same thing or are you using something different like StyleXP or WindowsBlinds? Thanks for the five! :D

Mar 10, 2009 5:45 am - Well earned 5* strangely i downloaded Shock Aero 3D. personally it ran fucking slow and it was just quicker using alt + tab. BUT that was probs because i installed it on my laptop that has XP... 300mb ram >< regardless. till great. 5*
