Okay so you’ve just came up with a kick ass idea like a song or world domination plan which you want to keep safe and original from copy right thieves.
so heres how you copy right your item for free.
okay i lied it costs some money but most people have these items around the house already.
Items -Your Idea
-Envelope
-Stamp
-Letterbox
-Pen
Procedure -You place your item which you want to be copy righted into an envelope.
-You right your address on the envelope
-Post it (duh)
Why will this work? Okay have you ever tracked an order off the internet to see where your item is ?Well the post office has to check which items goes through their warehouse and the date and time it arrived and left.
If anyone was to steal your idea you can prove that it was your idea first by calling up the post office and they can prove with a dated log that your item passed through their warehouse at a specific date.
Mar 13, 2009 1:16 pm - I’ve heard of this before. It’s called a "poor man’s copywrite". We did this a few times when I was in a band years ago. You should mention not to open the envelope once you receive it by the mail in your egg. If it’s sealed, it adds more proof. I’ll give you 3*.
Mar 13, 2009 4:45 pm - the Chances of yoru stupid little idea geting stolen arnt grate, mail thefth isnt that common, unless you evnelope contains visible money.
and even if you get yoru idea stolen. this is not copy right prtection, this is just claiming thefth.
Mar 13, 2009 9:17 pm - Just file it with the copyright office. It’s not expensive; I’ve copyrighted a few photos myself.
Anyway, when economic times are tough, radio stations start running the "Name a star after someone" scam advertisement, when they normally turn up their noses during good times. In the ad, they say the name is "recorded in book form at the U.S. Copyright Office." It doesn’t mean anyone will use your name for "your" star; it simply means the list of star names is copyrighted. You can copyright literally anything you create, down to a handwritten grocery list. Enjoy your "fascinating booklet on astronomy."
Mar 15, 2009 4:10 pm - what is this wikipedia that you speak off.
nah being seriously their probably is going to be other articles on the internet of this free copy right protection.
i got the idea off my mate a few years back and i used this idea the other day so i thought i would be kind and considerate and tell you guys, because im not an ass whole like that and keep this stuff to myself. im also not an ass whole by searching the web for other guides on how to do this shit and im also not an ass whole for posting that i c/p in my egg.
and seriously how many brain cells did it take to put wiki and fag together have you considered suing your brains for non-support?
