This group is for the discussion of more serious Pyrotechnics. Ther used to be a thread for this but when Lighter_Fluid left so did the group! I am mainly making this group to help those who wish to learn the serious aspect of this hobby! However I do not have much time to be on here so if you need me I will probably check in to see my messages more often than I come to this group, just send me a message!
Please keep this Group appropriate.....no talk of "bombs", violence, anarchy, or anything of the like. Focus on shells, fountains, starmines, and maybe salutes, etc. Have fun!!

 | May 11, 2005 5:21 pm - Sorry, but I don’t really need any more mods.... Me and Po are just kind ther for looks.... Maybe if we had members then we would need mods! I had hoped this group would be helpful in dragging some of the potential pyro’s away from the stupidity of most of this site.... it seems not! |

 | Jul 06, 2005 7:34 pm - HI there people, new to the group... I am interested in learning how to make ammonium nitrate from fertilizer, the proper way. I live in the middle of the sticks and have lots of land to test lots of naughty things on, i am getting bored with what i got. can any body help me out?? there seems to be heaps of misleading recipies for ANFO on the net, but most of them sound like shit...
Cheers

 | Jul 24, 2005 11:14 pm - yo chipper. my advice to you is to get the latest version of the jolly roger. it is good for all your bombing needs and has lots of other cool shit. some of the things in it are a little hard to find but theres always a way around it ;) |

 | Aug 19, 2005 10:17 pm - i would join but defiler is in |

 | Aug 25, 2005 10:36 am - check my eggs on chlorine rockets, and stinger missiles. I was wondering if i could be a mod, since i am so great at all fireworks.
"IDEA&qu t;: when my friend came over he had a black cat bottle rocket, and we wrapped it in white plumber’s tape, and when it blew up, it started raining small white pices of tape. (10 seconds after it blew up, since it was so high up) |

 | Dec 28, 2005 2:44 am - Dumbasses. They relate pyrotechnics with "pyros". They are two completely different things. One is an art and requires skill and intelligence, the other is something any dumbass with a lighter can do. |

 | Jan 03, 2006 2:57 am - Explosinve Paste I was wondering if i could borrow some knoledge,
I want to make an explosive pastge and i thought i could use maybe Cintronella Oil and refined sparklers |

 | Jan 24, 2006 7:27 pm - Ok, so I see that the *advanced pyrotechnics* idea didn’t work... Anyway, if anyone with a half-decent knowledge of pyrotechnics is on here... i’ve seen a lot of star formulas online for various colors. I recently came upon some fun chemicals including barium nitrate, strontium nitrate, copper (II) sulfate, and some other fun ones. I have dextrin, potassium perchlorate, aluminium powder, magnesium powder, antimony sulfide, and sulphur. So, my question to you is, do you of any good blue star formulas that use just the above chemicals or something I don’t have to special order from skylighter.com or something like that, i’d rather save my money, as i am building a harpsichord and have to buy expensive wood. |
