Dec 02, 2004 2:26 pm - The Zero Star Some people noticed that there’s a new value you can click when ranking Eggs and Profiles. It’s the little Zero with a line through it. This is the 0 Star, or ’Not Interesting’, value.
Use this rank when you run across New eggs you think shouldn’t be accepted in the directory and old Eggs that shouldn’t remain in the directory.
Poorly ranked Eggs that sink below one star will eventually be dropped from the directory, and if it remains below one star for extended amount of time will be purged.
To ease the minds of those with Eggs that have a ranking of less than one star take note, it takes a lot more than a couple zero votes to drop your egg.
May 04, 2005 8:03 pm - this isn’t happening anymore but i had an egg a few days ago that was a 1.5 stars and it was registering it as -12 points but now it’s a positive number. was there some glitch or somethen.

This is still being tweaked and is subject to change.

For example, to directly link to my profile, I would type in :
This works for all new and old accounts. However some grandfather nicknames may include characters that will not process correctly. If this is the case, simply update your nickname.
Nov 28, 2004 9:12 pm - 5-Star Ratings The Egg directory is now entirely based on the 5-Star rating system. Please contribute to the site by clicking the 5-star rating feature when viewing Eggs or Members.
We also record who votes and how often. This value will play a part in the new Member level system when it is installed. Also, you can not vote for an Egg or Member more than once a day.

Nov 26, 2004 10:38 pm - Messages from non-approved friends You must now opt-into receiving messages from non-approved friends. This value is set via ’Your Account’. The default value set will not allow strangers to message you.
Members that are in your ’Friends’ list can message you regardless of this setting.
Nov 26, 2004 5:46 pm - Comments and Replies You will get one warning if you simply comment on someone’s egg to insult them. After the one warning, the next time you engage in this behavior your account and Eggs will be deleted. No questions asked. We do monitor this and will enforce.
This also applies to replies made in the General Discussion forum group and replies made to blogs.

So if you’re clicked the ‘Resend my Welcome Letter’ link and didn’t receive anything after a few minutes, try setting your interval to 0 temporarily.
