( votes) Published: Being a reporter for the local paper, a gang of tuffs allowed me to document their recent liberation of a Yoda statue from a popular chain of video stores. Armed with my camcorder I witnessed their initial plan, the daring execution, and final ewok-esque celebration of their Yoda caper. Here is a breakdown of what transpired: An oversized* statue of Yoda is spotted in a local video store. Enslaved and malnourished the ’gang’ decides immediate action is necessary. (* The Yoda statue is over 4ft tall, while the actual Yoda is slightly smaller.) Two days to execution: An initial study of facility is conducted, weak spots are found and security issues are addressed. Study of the captured Yoda reveals its weight, durability, and that it is being ’chained’ by a small copper wire. One day to execution: Mock walkthroughs are conducted of the wire cutting and escape times. Uniforms of a local drunken frat team are found, fitted, and been given the green light for use. Day of execution: Employees are studied for weakness, one being overweight and other a girl. A window of opportunity arises when a mystery call is placed asking for a non-existent video, which distracts the two rubes. A single member enters while a second assist with door and visuals. Plan is executed without incident, authorities are called, arrive and are left without leads. ** Administration Note ** The RottenEggs administration would like to reiterate that this story is not suggesting copycat incidents nor is it suggesting anyone act in this manner. It is simply a documented story of an event or situation.
