Close your eyes and imagine yourself standing near the edge of a cliff. The sky surrounds you and the faint sound of the water below you is all that can be heard. As you inhale you take a step forward, you exhale and take two more steps. You bring your arms up over your head and you JUMP!
Suspended in mid-air you begin to fold your body in half. As you soar down towards the water you tuck and flip once, twice, three and a half times. Now you straiten your body. Put your legs together and point your toes. Bring your arms out strait in front of you and tuck your head. As you rush downward your fingertips penetrate the water, it’s freezing yet refreshing, you completely submerge, sliding through the water like a warm knife through butter. If picturing yourself doing this made you excited or scared, if your heart beat increased or you held your breath you are on your way to experiencing an adrenaline rush.
