Wanna get stoned without smoking pot and smelling like smoke? Here’s how to put make your favorite foods have the same effect as smoking a joint.
First, a little chemistry for you: The stuff in weed that makes you get high is called Tetrahydrocannibinal (THC). The concentration of THC is dependant on how well the plant is grown, hydroponically grown weed is gonna be a lot better than something you grow under your back porch. THC is lipid soluable, that means it gets absorbed and stored in fat (which is why it stays in your body so long).
Now let’s get cookin!
You’ll need the leaves from a whole plant of marijuana (easist if you grow it yourself). Cut up the leaves into small pieces (but not too small). Put all the leaf pieces into a regular cooking pot with water. Boil the leaves with the water (this part removes the THC from the plant). Once the water is at a boil, throw a whole stick of butter into the pot and turn the heat down. Let the pot simmer all afternoon with a lid on it. Now turn the heat off all together and pick out the leaf pieces with your fingers. Throw them away because they’re worthless now. Put the pot with the water and butter in the refrigerator. When it cools off, the butter will solidify and can be skimmed out of the water. Now the butter, because it is mostly fat, will have all of the THC concentrated inside it. Use the butter to make brownies or cookies or something you like to eat. If you did everything correctly, one brownie/cookie should be pretty effective.
