Alright, here is a good prank for fountains. What you need:
1. A big fountain, like the kind they put outside large businesses or universities.
2. Detergent Soap or other really strong soap
This one is pretty easy. Just dump the soap in the damn fountain. We used to soap up the fountains at college all the time like this. It really pisses off the administration, and their reaction is usually more entertaining than the big suds foaming out of the fountain and spilling over onto the sidewalk.
Another fun one involves:
1. A spike, metal strip, or whatever will fit
2. Super glue
3. A big fountain
Remember jamming up the little indoor drinking fountains as a kid at school, where you put a pencil fragment or a strip of paper over the hole and it sprays out really hard? Well, super glue a big metal strip over the water outlet(s) on the big outdoor fountain while they have it off for seasonal maintenance. When they flip it back on, it will spray like a freakin fire hose, depending on how well you doctored it up. You can sauder new pipes on and all kinds of stuff as long as it isn’t readily noticable.
