go to home depot or lowes ot something a bring red dye. Go to a fountain(that ones you put like in your front yard) I prefer the fountains that have like little kids spitting water or the lion heads that spit water, anyway Put a few drop of dye in the fountain and walk away. It will mix itself. Now watch as people walk by and stare. For an added touch I put a 666 pricetag in front. This prank is always good when your parents drag you to a store with them.

i think if u got some food coloring it would be good to like take off the lid , put as piece of scotch tape, and take a sewing needle and poke holes in it and drop the whole bottle in so that way its take a while to diffuse so you dont get caught right away and u have time to leave and come back later
