Wat u need is sum1 who smokes. Take a cigarette and pull some tobacco out with tweezers. Put some strike-anywhere match heads in there (i used 4). Replace tobacco and make it look like nothing happened. Give them the cigarette and watch them jump wen they lite up.
I did this to my friend. Scared her shitless.

Alternative method: take some flash powder or gun powder etc, wrap a little bit of the powder up in paper to make a mini-bomb. Drop the mini-bomb in instead of the match heads.
It should have a better effect.
