If your parents are hard-asses who wont trust you with a lighter, this is a good way to keep it concealed without having to put it under lock and key or any other bothersome hiding techniques. I’m sure many of you have thought of this before, I don’t claim to have come up with this is idea; I’m merely listing a procedure for doing it.

Materials
1 deck of card
1 razor/carpet knife
1 lighter (smaller than the deck of cards)
4 rubber bands
drill (optional)
hot glue gun (optional)

Step 1.
Remove a couple cards from the deck. Place your lighter on top of the remainder of the cards so that it is in the center. Then, take your rubber bands and place one flush to each side of the lighter, like so
http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=7/18814385775.jpg&s=x2

Step 1.5 (optional) I suggest you do this; it makes things MUCH easier in the long run.
Remove the lighter (duh) and drill a hole through the center of the space outlined by the rubber bands. Then fill this hole with hot glue.

Step 2
Using your carpet knife, cut around the insides of the rubber bands. Remove only the middle section and move on to the next card. This can get tricky because you’ll be forced to hold the cards still on your own….

If you did step 1.5, instead of removing the center of the card, remove the outside and set it aside, then continue to cut using the center piece left behind by the last card as a “stencil” for the next. Because you glued these together, your life will be made much easier as you don’t have to worry about one card being cut at a slightly different angle than another, ect….

Step 3
Place the cards without centers on top of a few of the normal cards you set aside earlier and put a few more normal cards on top and you now have a hollow deck of cards, perfect for storing your lighter.

I’m not gonna be around for the next month, so dont expect me to reply to any of the comments....

have fun

i myself took a whole book and hollowed out the majority of it and left a few pages untouched for looks and i can hide almost anything in it from cigarettes to lighters to even my stash in it. its a pretty nifty thing to have i give you a 5 for an idea similiar to my own.

Nice spot. My parents don’t care if I have lighters but this would be a nice place to hide other things. 5*****
