Arrows. The ancient bullet. In this egg I will provide info on making arrow heads, arrows, ect.

Arrow Heads

Below are different compounds used for arrow heads.

Indian Style- Indians would use obsidian and other natural recource gems as a base for making arrow heads. The lower quality ones would shatter on impact usually.

Tin- Sharp edges, can be sharpened at point, but dulls after use. Not recommended.

Metal- Although hard to cut, proves durable even after extensive use. Recommended.

Clay- Natural clay, as found after digging into the ground after some bit, can be dried after being shaped into preferred form. Could shatter on impact-and usually does. Not recommended. (unless bird/squirrel hunting)

Now that we have that down, I will go into detail about how to make them.

Obsidian/rock- These can be bought at gift/gem stores, but you can also carve them from rock with a hammer and icepick. (my way) Now chizzle away until you reach the shape of an arrow head.

Tin- You can get tin sheets at just about any hardware store, such as Home Depot. I preffer to get it in thicker layers, thin layers will bend and not keep form as good. Now, get back to your place, whatever, and grab that Buzz saw. (Buzz saw, As I call it, is the one with the big spinning circular blade, electric powered.) Put two sheets on top of eachother, so that you can cut two arrow heads at once. Now you will need some good ole’ super glue. Glue the two sides together and you have an arrow head. You might want to bend them both slighty, so that they are not entirely flat.

Metal- Hardware store. Basically the same as above, except metal is harder to cut, and it’s harder to find it in sheets.

Natural clay- Can be bought At art supply stores. Or dug up. Either wich. I use store bought. (CANNOT BE MODELING CLAY!!) Now, take a small chunk and just form it into an arrow head. Now you will want to heat this. Oven, Sun, whatever. Just make sure it gets hardened.

Arrow Enhancers

The fun part. These are methods at wich you can modify your arrow to an extent.

Poison- I have absolutley no clue on making poison, I’ve never messed with it. But this egg looks pretty convincing. http://rotteneggs.com/r3/show/se/17170.html
I give full credit to the author of that egg for the poison. Now, take your LIQUID poison and dip the arrow head in it. Good for hunting.

Flaming arrows- These were used by ancient militaries. They were used in raids and so forth to burn down structures. Now, Simply take gasoline and dip the arrow head in it. (Arrow head must be ON THE ARROW I will get to those in a moment) Second method-Put napalm everywhere except for the tip. That way it can pierce the target AND spread flaming pyro paste on it.

Exploding arrows- Will explode on impact. Best used with tin. When you bend the arrow head slices and glue them together, let it dry. Now there should be a hollow from the bottom to the tip. Fill that with flash powder. One of two things will happen: It will just explode damaging the target. Or, it will pierce the target THEN explode, this all happening within one milisecond.

Arrows

You will need a thin-hollowed wooden stick, perfectly rounded for each arrow. I bet a dollar wasted that they have these at craft/hardware stores. Just make sure the arrowhead can fit within the hole. If it doesnt, well, you can just deal with less-accurate arrows.

Method one for applying arrow heads:

1: Simply put above. Stick the bottom stock of the arrowhead into the hollow of the stick. If it doesnt fit, follow method two:

2: Tie the arrow head by a bunch of small ropes and superglue. Easy enough. Just make sure i doesnt wobble too much, though.

Tail feathers: Not too important...just stuff the end with paper and superglue some feathers in.

I hope you enjoyed my egg. I promise this is all original - None was copied. I stayed at the comp for 30 mins. straight typing it. Anyway, have fun - go kill some birds, whatever. As far as bows go, shoot, get your own. Happy hunting.

the true arrow poison is made by boiling the root from ACANTHUS shrubs. theyre a popular garden plant. you should use a thickener. maybe add a little cornflour.

By the tail feathers, I mean the colorful little dickershits you put on the end for decoration, not the fins.
