I discovered this by accident and do not suggest you try it.

What I did was I mixed a ’bit’ (Not sure on quantities as I didn’t take notes and didn’t know what would happen. Just roughly equal amounts.) of common HTH and ammonium nitrate fertilizer together. I did this in a small baked beans can, you know the kind. I was just mixing them a bit when the stuff began to smoke spontaniously. Hot HTH went flying.

Never try this. DEFINITELY not in big quantities. But just don’t do it.

The bang is LOUD and made my ears ring for about a day. If done in small quantities it makes a small POP. In about handful-size quantities it will kill you. Don’t do it.

This was the bomb used in the Oklahoma City bombing. Dont do it.
