-Craig, tyler and i grimly walked our bikes back to our neihborhood. The only thoughts on our mind and words uttered on our breath were of revenge, upon Eric and his gang of Lincoln hicks who had recently ambushed us on the quad trails we used to comute to our lawn mowing jobs in a paintball attack. We had been completely surrounded, robbed, and now we were haggard grimy and tired. For now the task in hand was mobilizing our niehborhood friends for the counterattack.
The next day we sent IMs and made phone calls to our friends to meet at our hangout. The hangout was outside an abandoned factory by the river. The entrance was a rusted hatch that lead to the basement of a foundation, admist rubble and bushes. We all unlocked the padlocks and pulled away the chains we had put there to protect the "BUNKER" as we called the hangout. We climbed down the ladder and lit the candles and turned on the lights wired to a car battery we used as our sources of light. Inside we had arranged benches and chairs and used telephone wire spools as tables. Once everyone was inside we started discussing the task at hand. During the course of the meeting many ideas and stratagies were discussed and put down, and many IBC rootbeers consumed. But what we did know is that we would fight fire with fire. They ambushed us, therefore we would ambush them. The plan was to lie under cover of bushes and bracken with our bikes on copper street, a street used allot by eric’s gang en rought to the white hen pantry. The roadsides sloaped down to the street, so once they were spoted we could eisily ride down and accost them on all sides. But one problem was that not all of us had paintball guns, some had BB guns, but some had nothing. Therefore we employed the tactic of what we called "grenadiers". Kids who would Ride with clubs and chains to take down thier bikes. Others would use smoke bombs and firecrackers.
After the meeting we all rode down to Ryan’s house, he had a garadge where he was always working on one thing or another, some creations coming out of it being a trebuchet and even a hovercraft. We all started working on making smoke grenades and flash bangs out of firecrackers and flash powder (using many of the recipies on this site ;) We also made holsters to hold our paintball guns and other firearms, and armour out of modified hockey pads. At the site off copper street we sent 2 kids, adam and mike i think, to cut up brush and move around wooden crates to camofalge our positions.
