-Arrrggggg, last night it rained so the trails are probably all muddy at the moment, wich usually doeas a number on my bike. So i guess i’ll continue telling the saga on my last day of summer before high-school.
TERROR OF THE ROADS
We finally spotted them coming over the horizon after many tense minutes of waiting. I looked at them in my binoculars. Shit i thought, there is like 7 of them, and they were armed and with thier paintball guns and gear. Either they were coming back from the paintball arena or else a rat had tipped them off that we would be waitin for them... As they came closer and closer i shouted NOW!!!!!
Upon the order The ridgemonters pushed metal oil drums, threw rocks, metal machinery parts and calthrops (boards with sharpened nails sticking out of them. Tyler and craig also shot off our homade flash bags and smoke grenades, and they bounched on the road exploding and emiting volumous clouds of acrid smoke. As they threw the projectiles one 0f them, steve i believe, had his tires punchured by a calthrop in a loud :::::POP::::: And then he lost controll of the bike, slamming into one of the oil drums. In the resounding cresendo of bike and steel STEVE was cattapulted into the road. By that time most of Eric’s gang got through, and i blew the secong whistle "CHARGE!!@!!" i screamed. And at that we all toar off onto the roads, throwing aside and boards or cut up thorn bushes we had used as cover. The air was filled with dust as we comenced our pursuit. We had attached our paintball guns to the handlebars of our bikes, so we could eisily shoot and ride simultaineously. The Grenadiers" (those unforntuate enough to not have any kind of fire arms sped toward our foe./ They were armed with sharpened stick and hooked chains, whoes aim it was to get them caught in the spokes of erics gangs bikes, and bring em down. I was on top gear, pedling with all my might to catch up to Eric, my sole aim in this whole operation. I fired at him peppering him with neon orange paintball bursts. He tried to fire back at me but that is rather difficult firing a gun and riding a bike at the same time when it isn’t mounted to your bike. Therofore all his shots inacurate. As craig caught up to one of those vermin they threw one of thier own flash bangs at him. It exploded right on his front tire and he crashed into a roadside ditch, his arms covering his face against the rocks and sharp brakken that he colided into, in a cloud of dust. Ryan, who happened to make his own blowgun out of a lenth of copper piping and with homade fish hook dart (once again a idea posted on this site) Sped up to one of eric’s friends and firted at the back tire of the kids bike. It missed, as he reloded the kid we was chasing hit the brakes and began tailing ryan. The kid finnaly kicked at ryans bike, and then puched him knocking him off. One of our friends, PAT who was armed with a chain got it caught upon the kid who had knocked of ryan back tire. Pat held on as long as he could but he himself was being dragged by the kid. He finally yanked the chain sideways toppling the kid, and himself onto the hard asphalt roadway. I was nearly caught up with Eric, tyler on my left firing at him with his bb gun. By this point the down hill road had led to the riverbank (wich divides our town into east and west, us kids from ridgemont being stuated in the east) Eric swerved right towards one of the many abandoned factories along with his other companions still on thier bikes. They then slamed the rusted and barbed wired gate behind them and bolted it shut. We didn’t know any other ways to get into the compound with the concrete wall surrounding the factory. Therefore we turned around and headed back to collect our injured, and any captives and loot we may have gotten.
Upon going back to our underground base on the east side the finall data of the skirmish was like so:
Loot: some money, 2 paintball guns with some ammo, face masks, a cool knife, some beef jerkey. ciggaretts, and a bit of weed and some other small trinkets
Captives: Steve with his bike, and the asshole who knocked off ryan:Brandon along with his bike. We tied them up but later released them and thier vehicles because we had nothing better to do with them. \
Casualties (our side) Pat>Road burns torn up clothing and some injuried from the fight subduing brandon.
Ryan-road burns.
Craig-minor burns on his hands and allot of scratched from his collisin with the thorn bushes.
-At the "Bunker" (our hangout) we gave our causualties bandages sorted through our loot, and smoked Brandon’s ciggarets. It had been a victory hard fought. Now our finall assault would be upon Eric’s factory, if we had the enenuity to penetrate it.
