I hate when I’m just social drinking and my beer starts to lose it’s fresh coldness, or when it’s down to the last few sips and it gets really warm and nasty. Those crappy plastic cups just don’t keep your beer cold for long enough, so I thought of an easy way to insulate your cup quickly and easily.
The makeshift beer mug
materials -2 plastic cups
-a piece of cardboard (rip off a rectangle from a beer box), or you can put some napkins together
-a couple ice cubes
-beer duhhh
Now put a few small ice cubes in the bottom of one of the cups. then wrap up the Other-cup with the cardboard or napkins to act as insulation. Then put the insulated cup inside of the cup with the ice cubes in the bottom, twist on tight.
now you have a cold beer mug for the night, and it was made from items that are easy to find anywhere. Have fun

Sep 11, 2005 9:49 pm - i dont know if you have seen it but there is this thing where the beer is warm, and you twist this thing at the bottom and after like 2 mins it becomes cold. and stays cold or some shit.

I worked with a guy who lived across the street in a flophouse hotel. He lived on alcohol and marijuana, seldom eating or drinking anything else. His hotel room lacked a refrigerator or ice machine. When we got together after work, I developed a taste for room temperature, English style beer.
