ok heres how i mak e guitar picks because im too cheap to buy them.

you need: an old credit card or gift card
a knife
sandpaper
a guitar pick to trace

1.put the corner of the guitar pick on the corner of the card.

2.lightly trace the pick just so you can see it.

3.put the pick away cuz you dont need it anymore and with a strong knife trace the outline of the pick hard.

4.bend it on the indented lines and it should easily break off.

5.sandpaper the rough edges down and you got a one of a kind guitar pick.

Dude this is great but I break picks constantly if they are soft plastic which a credit card is. (I only use old credit cards to jimmy doors open.) A broken pick get hung on strings.

Anyway, Dunlop Tortex picks are the hardest around and they are like three for a dollar. They wear out before they break! I have never even seen one break. I used the 0.73 mm size, that’s pretty heavy.

I used to do this, but not with old credit cards. Instead with the lids on those big icecream tubs.

Good Idea 4*

Free guitar pics??
Just go to any nightclub during the day if they are open, the stage usually has some of them on the floor from players that were too lazy to pick them up after last nights gig.
