This egg is for everyone who is fed-up reading bullshit ’School Admin Hacking’ eggs.
Ok, this will teach you how to delete the Administrator password for Windows so that you can enter your own password in and nobody can change it back, unless they use this method themselves. The great thing about this egg is that you don’t even need to have an account in Windows to do this!!! You will, however, need these things listed below :(
*A cd burner
*A blank cd
*Cd writing software (must have image burning)
*Must edit the BIOS to boot from cd on the target computer (Dell’s use F12 for ’Boot Menu’)
*the EBCDLite image file (don’t worry, it is free and it isn’t a very big file to download)
Anyways burn the EBCDLite image file to a cd, nero has image buring, and then test the cd on your own computer. If you did it right, then you can proceed. If you didn’t burn it right, then try it again. You can get the image at http://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/simtel/msdos/sysutl/ebcdlite.zip or you can do a google search for it.
***NOTE: When I say most likely, I mean 99.9% of the time***
Since there is a wide variety of BIOS, I decided not to include how to change the BIOS settings. This egg would be way too large if I included instructions on how to edit each different BIOS.
This is the exact method that I used at my school, the computers are running Windows XP Pro. The computers are Dell’s which gives the option to go to a boot menu instead of changing the BIOS settings, even if the BIOS has a password. You can get to the boot menu by pressing ’F12’. BIOS is usually one of the following: ’del’, ’F2’, ’F10’ but most likely ’del’.
boot from cd
main menu choose number 3 and press enter
press enter to continue
type ’n’ without the quotes, and press enter
press enter, /dev/hda1 is most likely it (try
’/dev/hda#’ if hda1 does not work, ’#’ being any
number between 1-9)
press enter, windows/system32/config is most likely it
press enter
choose option ’1 - Edit user data and passwords’
type ’Administrator’ and press Enter (User Info & Passwords Menu)
type ’y’ and press enter (something about account being disabled or locked)
type ’*’ (this deletes the password) DO NOT enter a new password
type ’y’ press enter (Do you wish to change it?)
type ’!’ press enter (do this if you are done editing passwords, or type’.’ to continue editing)
type ’q’ press enter (confirms that you actually want to quit)
type ’y’ press enter (confirms that you actually want to make changes to the hive)
type ’y’ press enter (re-confirms that you want to change the password)
now you can remove the cd and press ’ctrl+alt+delete’
login screen ’Administrator’
login screen ’Novell User’
create Administrator password**
type password for Administrator
create the password for Administrator button
**To go to this option go to start and select ’Control Panel’. Switch to ’Classic View’ on the right. Now click user accounts.
If you followed everything correctly, then you should now be the new HAPPY ADMINISTRATOR of your school.

Mar 29, 2006 11:59 pm - NICE! I just wonder how are the CD supposed to look? I mean in the CD i burned there was a map BOOT and 2 other texrfile. Have i burned the CD right? Because when a boot from the CD so it just doen´t start it finds nothing and go back to network.
