So you got a fancy new video iPod and don’t want to pay to download videos from itunes. Here’s a quick, free and easy way to get your videos on your ipod.
Head on over to http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/download.php and download Videora iPod Converter (I’m using v 0.8) Install that and open it up. From the "Convert" screen, hit Transcode New Video. Open your video file, and get the title right. IMPORTANT:Make sure your quality profile looks exactly like this: SP/320x240/768KbpsStereo/128Kbps Now just hit start, wait for it to finish converting, and import it into iTunes (From iTunes: File>Add File to Library...), and from there onto your iPod. I’ve only used this on Divx, and it has worked great. I couldn’t get it to work with mpgs, or asf though. If any one tries wmv please post about it.
