This is a fun addition to your aerosol can.
Materials!!!
1. Aerosol can(preferably new or full)
2. Duct tape
3. 3 Rubber bands
4. Bernzomatic Micro torch(available at Ace hardware, pictured above)
5. Small wooden block( 1inch by 1 inch by 1 inch, optional)
6. A self igniting flame sorce(a.k.a. a lighter)
Instructions!!!
1. Duct tape the wooden cube to your micro torch
2.Rubber band the wooden cube torch to the side of the can so that it is 1 inch away and in front of the can’s spray nozzle.Make sure the end of the nozzle of the torch is about half an inch below the cans nozzle(to avoid blowing the flame out).
3. Ignite the Bernzomatic torch with your lighter, on full blast
4. So now you have an open flame burning in front of your can, spray the can!
Upsides
The whole setup allows you to use the flamethrower with one hand, all you have to do is press the button on the can without constantly relighting the spray,the rubberbands allow for easy transfer to another can, refillable so it lasts longer than fuses or wicks, wont blow out, the block of wood creates a safe distance between can and flame, and it looks cool.
Downsides
not really worth it if you look at the big picture,i just happened to have the micro torch laying aroud, it is kinda bulky, and requires extra butane.
Tips
KEEP AWAY FROM ANYTHING OF VALUE SUCH AS YOUR FACE!!!
If the torche’s flame is blown out by the spray, move it down a little.
Great for camping, repels bears.

also in between the can and the micro torch, i’d reccomend putting a small metal tube so that the flame is not actually touching the aerosol can. |
