This is a relatively easy and simple egg

Ok get one of those Solo plastic cups, cut off the circular bottom part because that plastic is the strongest part. cut your plastic cirlce into little tiny 1cm double ended spikes like this

Stick several of these in the carpet so that one of the sharp ends is sticking up and the other is stuck in the carpet.
i had several hunded of these in my carpet and my little brother stepped on a bunch of these and started screaming in pain. One actually broke the skin!
i prefer using the white or yellow cups for discreteness

This is a really good idea. I have a shit load of those clear plastic cups so im gona make about fifty of these tonight.

If they dont work, try a thicker carpet, if the carpet is too short than there is barely anything holding them up.
