1111111111Powerful Glove Gun
Glove gunsare abb gun for poor shits or Aussieswho aren’t alowed to own a gun. They’re great for the holidays or when your f***en bored (thats when a friend showed me one).
If you make a good glove gun, they can do some serious damage, eg. leave nice bruiers, put holes in timber and smash car windows (learn from my mistake, its not f***ing funny being caught). Heres a guide to help you make a one ...
Brief
First, here is some imformation about glove guns to make it a bit easier:
-Barrel (Main part of the gun, made out of pipe)
-Handle (Also made of pipe, joins onto barrel, makes the gun easier to *hold *aim and *shoot straight)
-Glove finger (This is the part that sends the rocks (or whatever)flying, it’s taped onto the back of barrel)
Materials
- pvc pipe ~ At least 30cm (12 inches) of it, but you’ll may need more in case you stuff up. The end should be the size of a 10c peice (penny)
- masking tape ~ or any stronge tape.
- rubber gloves ~ the ones people use for washing up.
- scissors - copping saw / pipe saw - grinder (or use a file if u don’t have one)
- drill
Procedure
1.Grab your pipe and mark out a length of 20cm (8 inches)and cut using your saw. This will be your barrel. To help with the accuracy, drill 4 small holes evenly in one end of the pipe. When your using the glove gun, these holes make the shot more accurate (don’t ask me why, i was just experimenting one day and i found that this makes it better). Now on the non-hole side, use the grinder or file to smooth the edges so that they are not sharp or rough. This will stop the glove finger from being cut by the pipe. Here is a picture of what you should have at the moment, before and after drilling the holes ->
2.Now mark out a length of 10cm (4 inches)pipe. Then mark out the ends at around 50 degrees. Cut the pipe. So that the handle fits snug onto the barrel later, use a file or grinderto make a small arc on the top of the pipe. Figure 1. is a side view of the handle, Figure 2. is a front view and figure 3. is a back view. I added the back and front views so that you can see where have to grind. Most of this won’t make sense so here are some pictures tohelp.->
1111111 3.Now you have to join the handle on to the barrelso that it looks like a "T" (but the bottom line is at a different angle). Position the handle aroundhalf-way down the barrel (it should fit snug)then attach with masking tape. This can be tricky to do neatly, and if you have a better way of joining it, go a head, use that, but I’ve found that masking works fine if you’re careful (you may need to use your scissors to cut the tape here and there so it lays down properly). Once your finished the handle should be secure and not wobble. You should now have something like this (the 1st picture is pre-attachment, the 2nd is after) ->
11111111111 4.Last part. Grab one of the rubber gloves and cut the middle finger off of it asclose to the base of the finger as you can. Put it over the end of the barrel (the end without the holes) and tape it on with masking tape. This is the firing part. You should be able pull it back 15cm (6 inches) at least and it shouldn’t come off. If you have made the glove gun right, you should end up with something like this ->

How to use it
It’s pretty obvious, but in case you haven’t worked it out yet, this is what you do. Drop your ammo down the end of the barrel so that it drops down intothe glove finger. To shoot, aim and then pull the finger back as far as you can without breaking it and then let go. Also it helps to keep your hand straightand you should also pull the glove finger back straight because the straighter you pull the glove finger back, the more accurate the shot will be.
Ammo & Stuff
There are plenty of things that will work well as ammo for your glove gun. Here is a list of some ammo that I found that work well, but you’ll probably find plenty of other types of ammo yourself:
-Small rocks/pebbles (they are good at breaking glass and hard material, but rocks cuts up the rubber finger quite quickly)
-Round Dog Biscuits (yeah it sounds weird but works well, it doesn’t damage the rubber finger much and you can shoot them at people, my mates have fights using these as ammo)
-Ball Bearings (great at smashing glass and the like, and they don’t damage the rubber finger much)
-Small Metal Nuts (like ball bearings, but cut up rubber finger a bit)
-Berries (grab some off a tree, good for paint ball skirmishes, stain clothes)
-Frozen Peas (easy to get lots of them, they don’t wreck the glove finger much, fly rather strait)
-Balloons (you can use balloons instead of rubber glove fingers, they last longer, but i reckon glove fingers are more accurate, it’s worth experimenting to see which you like better)
Note
There are many other types of glove guns that I have made like glove rifles and shit, but the glove gun above works the best so far. It’s the easiest to load, aim and shoot. One more thing, unless you want to loss a f***en eye, its a probably good idea to wear some sort of eye protection if your going to go around shooting each other.

Dec 18, 2005 6:49 pm - thats great ive experimented nd found that if you use 2 middle fingers from a latex glove it is very strong but not too accurate. 5* great pics and writing best egg today.
Dec 18, 2005 7:17 pm - - Oh yeah, try using surgical gloves if you can get your hands on them. I heard they work well but I reckon they’ll break easily. It’s worth experimenting with them.
Dec 20, 2005 11:26 pm - ^Well my friend showed my the gloves he was using and then were yellowish, plus he used two layers of gloves. He gets them from his Dad’s surgery. Sorry I couldn’t be much help.
Using Paintballs as ammo sounds like a great idea, I just wish I could get them. Thanks for the comments.
