Ok this is how to make a combustion powered spitball gun
Things you need
1. An empty pill bottle
2. A bic pen
3. Thumbtacks or Screws
4. One of those long bic lighters
5. A drill
6. Duct tape or Super glue
7.Wire(insulated)
8.Off mosquito repellant.
Instructions
Step 1. Drill a hole the same diameter as the pen or a millimeter or two larger in the bottom of the pill bottle(not the cap!)
Step 2. Take the pen apart so all you have is the tube.
Step 3. Insert the pen tube into the hole of the pill bottle. If the tube is too big, make the hole larger. if the pen tube is too small, wrap it with duct tape until it makes a snug fit. once the pen tube is a snug fit, put super glue on the tube(the part that goes into the bottle). now, wrap the end of the bottle and the tube with duct tape so they are secured together(you can skip doing this, but it makes it more secure).
Step 4. screw in the two screws so they are less than a millimeter or two apart, but not touching.(look at picture if you are confused). if you use the thumb tacks, carefully push them in to the bottle just like the screws.
Step 5. Now carefully take the lighter apart, you will see a white thing behind the trigger. remove the trigger attached to it and remove the wire connected to it. attach two new wires to it. they should be at least 6 inches long(if you are skilled enough you could remove the wires from the lighter).now you should have the white thing attached to two 6 inch wires, wrap the whole thing in duct tape, but make it so you can still click the button.
Step 6. Now take the two ends of the wires and connect them to the screws or thumb tacks. secure the wires with duct tape. now click the button, there should be a small spark of electricity. you are almost ready!
Step 7. Load a Spit ball or a piece of potato into the tube, use a ramrod(pen ink tube cartridge thingy) to push your ammunition into the back of the tube. spray a few squirts of Off bug spray into the bottle, screw the cap back on. When ready to fire, press the button on the clicker and a small explosion will push the ammo out the tube and onto the target.
You can expirement with other types of ammo( Q-tips) or other types of fuel.
They are perfectly legal only if you shoot spitballs or potato peices.
WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN SKIRMISHING(I know from experience)

Dec 20, 2005 6:11 am - any electric lighter has about the same spark thing, just bust one open and since you’d be extending the wires anyway, it wouldnt really make a difference that the wires are short

Apr 03, 2006 4:19 am - pretty damn good although i probbaly wouldnt use spit balls id use mettal ball bearings. what would the distance for this be exactly? 5
