Water Survival
One day, your going to fall out of a boat or fall off a peer of fall into the ocean somehow and your going to go "Fuck! Why didnt I listen to that guide on rotten eggs!So Listen Up!
Falling in
Ok, The most important thing to remember about falling in the water is NOT to panic! do NOT think about sharks! Do NOT think about dying! In general once again, just do not PANIC!
Getting snagged
Sometimes if you sink to far down and there is coral at the bottom, you can get snagged and trapped down there (ouch). If you get snagged Take your shirt/pants/shoes or whatever gets snagged off and leave it there.
If there is no Coral...
If there is no coral at the bottom and the water isnt to deap, strip off to your underwear (fuck embarrasment, i would rather live if you aske me) and push down to the bottom of the water untill you reach sand, push off hard with your legs with your arms out in front of you like superman (its suprising how much this helps)
Prevention
Thats simple really, wear a life jacket when ure on a boat. If ure on a peer you would kind of look a bit stupid so just do the "No Coral technique"
No im not gay- im not just telling you to strip down to ure underwear for nothing, it makes you sink to the bottom of the water 3X as fast as normal.

If you wear a life vest when boating, water skiing, or surfing that will take care of a lot of the problem right there-- why do you think they call em "life vests" anyway? |

we had to do this thing in swimming class where we got in the pool, took our pants off and made them into a life vest. Its alot harder than it seems.

^ So did we. We also got to bring a canoe in the pool flip it over and stay under it and then flip it over again. I was in the demo. group and then had to do it twice more. I made it fun for the class because we devised when it was going to tip but I just screamed and flipped it voer and got a whole class laugh, even though it scared the crap out of my friends. 5* for the egg. |
