for this prank you’ll need:
1. an electric pencil shapener
2. a book of matches
3. a can of axe
4. a wooden pencil
5. scissors
6. nail file
first off, you need to fill the shapener with dry pencil shavings. so sharpen your pencil until the shavings container is about half way full.
next, take your can of axe and spray the inside of the shavings container and the dry shavings with it.
now take your book of matches and cut the heads off of about 10 matches with the scissors, then file them down to powder with the nail file.
then, sprinkle the match powder into the top of the sharpener. the next time someone uses it, the fast turning blades will create friction against the match powder, ignite it, spew the burning pencil shavings and match powder into the shaving container, where it will ignite the pencil shaving you sprayed with axe.
Dec 27, 2005 8:05 am - It should do that in theory, but use the "strike-anywhere&quo ; matches, as they have this little white spot on top that allows it to strike anywhere, maybe even the pencil sharpener blades.
Also, wouldn’t addding 10-20 drops of gasoline on the shavings and allowing them to dry ignite better? Instead of just Axe? I’ll rate after I get a response.
Dec 27, 2005 8:30 am - yes gas would work better, but i made this egg with things you could easily find around the house. in order to get that little amount of gas you would have to syphen it from someone or just pay a nickel at the gas station.
Dec 27, 2005 9:08 am - Strike anywheres do work but you need a straw to stick into the pencil hole (not too far) and blow a little! Too much and you’ll have yourself a mess and scattered shavings. Keep the match powder in a group as best as you can.
