This is something I came up with at my desk. I\’ve tried it at school and it annoys the teacher, but you never get caught. I\’m sorry I don\’t have pictures, my digital camera is broken.
What you need
- 1 or 2 party poppers
- A cheap mechanical pencil (I used a \"roseart Smartgrip\", it might be the only one that works)
- A knife or cutting utensil
- Airsoft BB\’s
What you need to do
Take the party popper(s) and take out the confetti and junk. If you can get the flash powder out easily, then skip this step. If you can\’t cut the party popper(s) in half and take it out. Now take your mechanical pen and cut it in half or more, just make it short. Now take the part you press on, the \"clicker\"(to get the lead out)off from the back. Now take the front part of the pencil and insert the \"clicker\". If it fits, good. Now take it off and put your party popper explosive in it. Now try to put the cap back. Make sure that if you don\’t get contact with the party popper things that you put Airsoft BB\’s in to space it out. If you make contact with them and if you press lightly that you know they are under pressure and are touching the bottom, you\’re done.
How to use it
Get the pen and in the middle of class press hard and quick (and you did it right)you will make the popper explode. If the teacher gets mad and thinks it was you let her search you. All you have is a mini pen. I annoyed my teacher so much with it. Don\’t worry about the pen exploding, it\’s not big enough. One party popper is about .25 grains of flash powder. You can substitute the party poppers with something else if you wish, for simplicity I just said. \"party poppers\"

Fe 17, 2006 11:07 am - If you want it to go off with friction u need a less stable Flashpowder i would think, the perchlorate and al powder is pretty stable but good idea 5*!
Feb 21, 2006 2:26 pm - It is true thatit is a bi to stable for this purpose, but it works. Like I said, you can substitute anything you want for the party poppers. I just put party poppers for the common person who doesn’t have the materials to make a real flash powder. The party poppers still work though.
