This prank is funny only to those who understand the the works of the Muslim religion. First of all I wil provide a short explanation/introduction to the background of this prank
In the Muslim religion, it is proper to pray when called to do so, which occurs 5 times a day. When called to prayer, all Muslims stop what they are doing, kneel down (on rugs which they carry with them and lay out), and pray (basically numerous transitions from kneeling with the body upright to kneeling with chin on the ground and back). Before each prayer, a prayer leader calls out "Allahu Akbar" (a-llah-u ak-bar with all short A’s) which means god is most great. Im not sure what they do after that so your imagination is key here.
Materials:
-Plain beach towel or doormat
-White robes (DO NOT DRESS LIKE THE KLAN)
-Two or more friends who have read this egg and won’t screw up
Optional- Megaphone.
This prank is to be performed during rush hour in the city (like around 4-5 oclock) where commuters are charging up and down the sidewalk trying to catch the early train home. Normally they are rude and pushy and this prank is to get back at the commuters.
You and your friends must be dressed in white robes, wearing them with the tops like togas and the bottoms ending like trenchcoats. Spread out on the same block and try to stay together. If you have a megaphone, then posting a man on the other side of the street is an option. Make sure you and your friends are prepared and call out clearly "ALLAHU AKBAR" and then lay down your rugs facing the opposite direction of where the sun is setting (this will make you face east towards mecca, and if your an aussie then face the sun. Begin to bow in unison with you calling when to do so using a "codeword" you should determine beforehand. Make sure that the word sounds Arabic, like "Hajj-ad". The commuters will become frustrated in their attempts to dodge you. After the prank has produced the desired effect say something else, roll up your rugs, and meet at a checkpoint a few blocks away.
Tips:
-KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE SO THAT THE PRANK IS MORE BELIEVABLE! THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN A SCREW UP!
-If you and your friends are on the same side of the street, form a jagged line which will make it more difficult for commuters to pass you.

In the Muslim religion it is extremely rude to disrupt those who are praying. The punishment for interruption is often death.
So with that in mind feel confident in the fact that no one will attack you or anything.
