Perhaps some of you on this site have heard of WWI. If you have, I congratulate you on knowing a little history. In this fierce battle of european nations, the german regime created probably the most well known first attempts at chemical warfare, the chlorine gas. This fatal liquid would be dispensed on the open battle field when the allie soldiers had no knowledge and no protection from the formidable poison. In 1915, the germans used this viscious weapon on the french army at Ypres. The french soldiers record seeing yellowish green clouds headed toward the allied trenches and the strong smell of pineapple and pepper. Effects of the gas were intense pain in the chests and the throats of the french forces. Chlorine gas then destroyed their respritory organs and killed them by asphyxiation. This obviously is a terrible way to die as it is a slow and excrutiatingly painful death and would not be wished on anyone, friend or foe. Now I’m sure a few of you have seen on the labels of some liquid soap containers to not mix with bleach. That is because some soaps contain ammonia. A friend of mine recently watched in horror as a co-worker mixed the two together, he quickly covered his mouth and dumped the mixture down the drain. Now I’m sure that a few of you have read an egg that appeared on this website a few weeks ago, it was something about high school concealed weapons, and one of these weapons was to contain bleach and ammonia (cleaner) in two white out bottles and to mix the two in a crowd. With the new information you have obtained, you will see that this is very very stupid. Not only will you be harming others, you will also kill yourself. Now you make think that chlorine gas is the only reaction from the adding of the two chemicals, but we also find that there are many other side effects that are equally as deadly. One of these side effects is the creation of Nitrogen Trichloride (NCl3), the combination of sodium hydroxide and nitrogen trichloride form the two chemicals is very volatile to humans and if ingested, would kill you, but it would probably sooner blow up in your face as it is explosive. and the other chemical reaction is Hydrazine (N2H4. hydrazine is a component to rocket fuel. Hydrazine creates an amazing amount of heat and would eventually blow up. So when all three of these reactions occur, most likely, one will suffer major internal organ damage, as well as second degree chemical burns and facial disfigurement. So don’t try it.it’s a very stupid idea.
