hey, ok i was thinking last night, i need a idea for a good egg, somthing people will like, somthing u’v never seen before, original. then it hit me, y not make a "molitov cocktail" out of butain in its gas form? ok here are my plans:
stuff you’ll need:
BIC lighter (the cheap kind u can get 3 for a dollar)
a SOBE bottle (u can get 3 for 4 or 5 bucks, here’s a pic of what a SOBE bottle looks like) some tape (ducktape)
a old rag
and a little gas
so here’s what you do:
step1. take you’r BIC lighter and tape the red gas button down.
step2:now quickly take you’r lighter (which should be releasing butain in its gas form) and put it in the SOBE bottle and seal the lid TIGHT, then let it sit for a few mins so that all the butain has a chance to come out (or most of it anyway).
step3: now dip the old rag in a little gas (dont soak it till its dripping) and tape it to the bottem end of the SOBE bottle, get to throw at your target, then light the rag.
step4: THROW. use enough force so that the glass bottle will break (which shouldnt be hard) and when it hits the glass breaks, and all the butain will be releasted and the burning rag will ignight it, making a nice fire ball.

Feb 10, 2006 6:08 am - good egg but it would take a littel bit for the bottel to fill with enuff gass. i say just take the metel part of the ligter and un screw the tip the the gas comes out and put it in to bottel quick

Feb 10, 2006 9:17 am - haha me and hazel do this shit all the time with empty beer bottles except do dont use it in a molotov way we just light the tip of it and watch the blue flame burn on the end of the bottle/
Feb 10, 2006 12:50 pm - this one is much safer, 5*’s, but when i tried it, it was much more of a bomb with an explosion. It didn’t set anything on fire, but it looked sweet. Ill put some gas in it next time.

Feb 11, 2006 2:01 am - Nice, but you could just buy one of the off-brand disposeable lighters and take the metal tip off, then keep turning the wheel and lifting it (repeating) then put it in the bottle, it would fill up alot faster, just a thought. 5*

Feb 11, 2006 1:50 pm - one question. is butane gas heavier or lighter that air? cause if it’s lighter, you can just tip the sobe bottle over and run some gunpowder to the mouth of the bottle. make a sweet booby-trap

this would be sweet if your with buddies exploding shit. But it would be pretty much useless to cause any damage like a real molitov cocktail would cause. The point of the molitov cocktail is to grab and burn for a long time... but good idea anyways
The butane cant be released in an airtight container. The butane would have to be left on inside the sobe bottle while the cap’s off.
The Oxygen and butane has to be exchanged some how, and if the air cant be released...
