NOTE : This is not c/p because I had to translate this shit from PiK4cHu’s egg (http://rotteneggs.com/r3/show/se/174551.html)which took me quite a while. Some of it i couldnt translate so youll have to figure it out by looking at the pictures.Refer to Pik4cHu’s egg for pics. I apologize ahead of time for grammatical errors.

Not you it never arrived to knead an old subway ticket between two stations? Air of already seen? It is normal, the world-wide success of my step by step of the hunter X’S wing in subway ticket almost obliged me to raise the challenge to reproduce this miracle with the pliage of the mythical Thousand-year-old Hawk (in French in the text). Apparently, I succeeded do not know not yet how I did, especially also quickly, but I kept the prototypes that drove me to this result. (I will try to understand later)

Here the tutorial so waited. Next step, the hunter TIE... While waiting, good courage and that the force is with you!

Hubert of Lartigue

This project necessitates 4 subway tickets. Attention, the direction and the drawings on the tickets are important. It will be necessary well to watch to itself in accordance with the photos for a better result. I counsel you to do you the hand on several X’S wing before to attack you to this piece. I find it more difficult climb but funnier also. You will need a scalpel and of a plioir in bones.

I counsel you to read completely this tutorial before beginning cutting your tickets for it is necessary well to spot the location of the printed motives. And sometimes, they are revealed only later during the explanation. At last you will see well...

Begin while taking two tickets with which these will form you a cross. These two tickets will form the body of the vessel and will have the same geometry. Later, they will undergo different cuts.

Fold back the paws. Of a side...

Then other.

Idem for the one of the under. In top...

And down below.

Do you help plioir for well to mark the pleats?

Here the two dislodged pieces.

With the plioir, mark all the pleats in the two directions. Of a side...

And other.

Next unfold a ticket, the band chestnut towards you.

Fold in long of manner to form a band of same thickness that the central band chestnut.

Well mark the pleat to the assistance of the plioir.

Proceed from even of every side of the band chestnut.

You must obtain this.

With the plioir, mark all the pleats in the two directions.

Reprennez (hold?) the ticket in hand as this.

Then form another pleat above the same thickness that the band chestnut manner to form three small squares as indicated in red.

Well mark this pleat.

In the two directions as usual.

Proceed from same manner for all the pleats of the two tickets.

As this.

With the finger, form a pleat to 45° from the parallel pleats.

A blow of plioir...

Proceed thus alongside the second pleat.

A blow of ploir...

Voila this that that gives. This is clearer?

Proceed thus for all the sides of all the tickets.

Another seen of the maneuver...

First finished ticket! At last almost...

This series of pleats are only decorative. They will give also a little more volume to the body. Begin with the fingers.

A p’tit blow d’plioir.

As that! The pleats are marked only of a side. This is the first diagonal one.

Diagonal second.

Third with the fingers.

A p’tit blow d’plioir, but attention not to the end.

Therefore, diagonal third...

Then fourth!

The pleats of the two tickets at last are finished.

We will cut the first ticket. Attention of not you cut the fingers. If you are too young, ask an adult... The first cut concerns the small radar of the Hawk. Spot the "M" and cut around while leaving an attached party to the diagonal superior one.

One can raise it with the scalpel.

Next, cut a small circle in the middle of the small rectangle.

Try having not to touch the pleats at the time of the cut. Here, I withdraw the small circle while the pricking with the scalpel.

Proceed thus for the small other rectangle.

Do a small slit in the middle of the ticket. You will notice the small cut circles.

Here, one sees better the slit.

The first ticket is finished. More than three! Patience...

On the second ticket, do a cut in circle arch in the small rectangle. Attention to the printed motives on the ticket.

Then a second circle arch that opposes itself to the first one.

Split in top...

Then down below...

And at last, withdraw the thus cut piece. It is a matter of the opening of the reactor.

Cut a slit all alongside the small rectangle of the opposed side. You will note the location of the big one "T".

Do a slit in the middle of the piece.

Next, cut another parallel slit to the first one towards the reactor.

The two tickets of the body are finished. Congratulations! Now, it will be necessary to assemble them. This is the operation more delicate of the project. Take your time and do not irritate you, you will finish well by there to arrive... Or then, ask an adult to help you.

Start with to form the pleats of the two pieces.

Take the piece with the radar and spot the before for there to fit together the second piece. Note that the big one "t" places itself in top.

Veneer well the two pieces together with the fingers.

Fold back while imprisoning the paws triangular.

Not evident, I know and this not step is finished!

Next return the pieces while trying to maintain them together to fit together the rear party.

Start with the paw of the top to right.

Then slip the one of the top under the one left while pushing with the thumb.

And finish the gesture with the two fingers for well to sink to melts the paw triangular under the one of the opposed piece.

The two other paws fit together themselves almost at the same time. Take the bottom paw to the left between the thumb and the index and to slip it under the one of the opposed piece.

If she does not return from first blow, this is not serious. Some does this is almost impossible.

To help itself then plioir to force a little the introduction.

Here this is done!

Verify all the quotations and to the need, do you use the plioir to mark the pleats of the two thus assembled pieces.

Particularly in the corners.

All the corners.

To the need, pull on the arches of circles of the reactor for well to fit together the pieces.

Raise the radar. The body is finished.

Let us pass now to the "beak" hawk with a new ticket.

Fold in two while leaving a small rectangle chestnut as indicated on the photo. This is the one of the case or one does not serve oneself drawings of the ticket as reference of pictures. But the tolerance rather important in order not to have to measure, do not worry you.

Well mark the pleat to the assistance of the plioir.

Next, return the ticket and leave equally a small rectangle of the same thickness that précédement.

Well mark the pleat to the assistance of the plioir.

Once unfolded, you will see two parallel pleats to the center. It is magic!

To cut the window, practice a slit to a distance equals to the thickness of the band chestnut. As the indicates the red square that leans on the one of the central pleats. Of a side...

Then other.

In top...

And down below.

Withdraw the central piece and preserve it. She will serve us later to butcher an opening.

Practice a slit alongside the band chestnut while leaving a distance equals to the thickness of the band chestnut as indicated by the red square.

Of every side of the band.

Fold next the paw until the opening to mark the environment.

Cut according to this pleat.

Cut the opposed side while using you the cut of the top as indicator.

Proceed thus every side of the ticket. Keep well carefully the thus cut pieces. They will serve us later.

Return the ticket.

Mark a pleat with the fingers.

It forms a square wave with the central pleats.

A small blow of plioir...

Fold next according to a diagonal one between the two thumbs. Do not forget any well to mark the pleats to the assistance of the plioir.

And proceed thus for all the sides of the piece.

Cut next a small rectangular slit of the height to the width of a band chestnut (to see red trait) and to a distance equals to this same width.

Proceed thus on the other side. Have not fear to do them too wide. The fitting-together with the body of the vaiseau some will be facilitated.

Proceed from even on the opposed party.

Do in continuation a series of slits alongside the pleat of the diagonal ones while leaving well two non-cut millimeters to every summit.

The slit stops itself to the small rectangle of the before of the "beak".

See the departure point for a diagonal other...

And his arrival point.

The four openings are split.

Here the once folded piece. Pretty no?

Fit together the "beak" on the party before body while starting with the over. The slits of the beak welcome the sides of the body and the strip goes through the top.

Pass the strip in the slit practiced on the over.

As this.

Return the piece and fit together the somewhere else beak on the corp as this. Then to slip the strip in the slit of the environment.

The body and the beak are assembled. Here the pieces of the ticket that you remain.

Take the two rectangles that the less are covered with printed motives.

They will serve to hide the sides of the beak. Fold one of the rectangles in the direction of the length on a third of the width.

Do a second parallel pleat on another third of manner to form a profile in "U".

Proceed from even for the other rectangle.

Some to take an and to slip it in the slits that are located on one of the sides of the beak.

Thus.

Proceed from even on the other side.

We go butcher the side of the beak that is located side of the radar.

Take the strip that we preserved.

To withdraw it and to slip it in the opening.

Thus

Take it one of the two pieces remaining.

To withdraw it on about 2 mm on the biggest length.

Well mark the pleat to the assistance of the plioir. Notice that this the left clear mauve of the ticket that is withdrawn on the mauve dark side.

Form a small tube with the fingers.

Thus.

Slip this tube in the one of the holes of the body of the vessel.

Thus.

Take the other piece and proceed from even.

To slip it in the other hole.

Thus.

With the fourth ticket, we will do the base.

To fold it in two.

Cut alongside the band chestnut to cut a rectangle.

Proceed from even for the other side.

Thus. Preserve well the two rectangles.

Return the ticket and cut it on the two following third the red line alongside the band chestnut.

Proceed from even on the other side.

To return it and fold the band chestnut thus. You will notice that the big one "T" remains on the base. The one of the cut rectangles is almost virgin while the other contains a circle side issue of which is marked RATP. This is a little late if you already cut your ticket. Grieved but I had asked you of all bed before beginning; o)

Fold the big band to about 8 mm end. This is finished for the base.

Take the paper rectangle with the small circle and done in as a tube with the fingers.

Thus.

Unfold it and start with to practice a series of slits. The circle is located on the other face of the side of this first slit.

Done in another a little more far.

Practice other slits while leaving another non-cut party every slit. (Here, I have returned the ticket to be able to cut to my hand)

Thus.

Do next a first slit in the direction of the length while leaving well a non-cut party.

Do a second slit parallel.

Withdraw the piece thus.

Form a first tube.

Then a second on the first one and withdraw the body of the cockpit.

Fold in the direction of the length it central left of the three strips of this same piece.

Thus.

You will have to do it to penetrate in the space advisable by the red flesh on the side of the body.

The central party sinks itself in the body and the strips must pass above and to the under body.

Slip the strip of the top in the slit of the body but under the strip of the beak.

Thus.

Proceed from even for the strip of the under.

Take the other rectangle and to cut it in two in the direction of the length.

Practice in every strip a cut in forms rectangle while using you the base for some to spot the environment. The cut must be very lightly wider than a band chestnut.

Thus.

On one of the two strips, practice a cut to leave to pass the radar. Not the penalty to be very precise does not worry you.

Give an a little curved form to manner every strip to this that she marries the body of the Hawk.

Thus.

The two strips are ready.

Note the position of the radar when one does to slip the strip under the one of the beak to position it.

Push well to melts.

Idem on the other side.

Place a first strip of the base in the free slit of the under Hawk.

Do to slip the withdrawn strip in the slit that already welcomes the one of the beak.

Already finished?

Yes!

This is at you to play now. Do not hesitate to give me your opinion if my explanations lack clarity.

well, perhaps I somehow have to agree with evan and dizturbed-soul... it is really grammatically incorrect, I had a hard time understanding it so it’s easy to say it was translated with an online translator... I think I prefer the original version(but that is probably only because french is my mother tongue... not english). Buuuut since there’s no way I can prove anything, I’m gonna give you four for the possible effort involved.

btw, triturer&# 0;in the beggining)is used as "Jouer avec"(playing with). it might be good to correct that. pliage comes from the verb plier, to fold. so you can guess that a pliage is a folding. Attention isn’t used the same way than the english attention. it should be translated into warning, or caution.

plioir en os means "bone folder", but both are incorrect... what he calls a "plioir" is in fact an "ébauchoir", a paring chisel. Idem is an expression tha means "same thing"

the band chestnut?!? ow, it hurts! he meaned the brown band. (I don’t know why, people from france tend to call the color brown "marron" althought it is more correct to call it "brun")

p& squo;tit is a constriction of petit, so it means small.

I’m gonna let someone else do the rest. I hope it (slightly) helped!
