It’s always helpful not to get busted by the parents or made fun of by your friends for getting a "love bite." Unless some of you guys regard it as a matter of pride-- here’s ways of getting rid of them.
Here’s some advice from the RE girl with strict parents
To make them go away faster, put a spoon in the freezer until it’s cold, or use an ice cube (spoon’s less messy). Then press the back of the spoon against it and work the blood out. This is sposed to work if you rub in toothpaste too, but I haven’t tried this personally. This works best for fresh ones.
If you guys are brave enough and in a hurry, do what girls do if you have a good eye-- buy cosmetics. Buy a cheap stick of concealer (looks like flesh-toned lipstick) and be sure to match your skin tone. If you’re not sure, go a shade lighter to be safe. Rub some on until you cant see it, then blend it with your finger (if you’re feeling REALLY girly, buy some pressed power and blend taht on top of the concealer).
Mar 06, 2006 9:36 am - Five from me too. My worst beating I ever got from my dad was because of a hickey. (He’s disabled now so I could totally take him. It’s great how things even out over time.) Actually I never thought I would need advice like this again but not too long ago I found myself about to go to a work meeting with a big one. I just kept my shirt collar buttoned up that time. So actually I can use this, thanks. (You’re right toothpaste doesn’t work that well.)

I heard of that along time ago, never had to try it though.. my boyfriends never given me a hickie thats lasted..
I wish he would have used this trick though, I get really embarrassed when I give him hundreds of love bites all over his neck and chest, and then he decides to walk around with his shirt off in front of his mom, haha..
