This is a story of how I embarassed the hell out of my friend
First let me explain that in my school library we have to pay for printing paper. All print jobs go to the front desk and we must go buy it from the librarian.
So today I was finishing up an easy lab report that me and my friend were partners working on. Sinice I wrote the whole thing myself, I asked my friend to go collect the printed version from the front desk and pay for it. Then I got a great idea for a prank.
I didn’t click print on the lab report just yet. Instead I quickly opened a new document and set the font size to 88 point, then I typed in, "I have a crush on the librarian". I set it to print 40 copies (at 5 cents a peice) and I sat back quietly and waited for the fun to begin as my friend approached the front desk.
All print jobs come with a cover sheet on the top that show the login name of the person who printed the paper, so my friend could not deny that the print was his after he revealed his name to the librarian. And just as you can assume for all librarians, she typically did not have a sence of humor. So you can imagine the awkwardness of the conversation taking place between my friend and the lady as he discussed whether or not he had to pay 2$ for the 40 pages of wasted paper and ink.
He ended up coming back with a stack of paper revealing his love for the librarian. It serves him right for not helping me with the report. But we had a good laugh about it afterwards. |
