How to Make a Sparkler Shower!



Introdu this pyrotechnic tutorial I will explain how to make a fountain of lovely sparks from only a few items.

Tools Needed

The tools needed to do this are: pliers, a drill, size 4 drill piece, sparklers, 2 bottle caps, side-cutters, some stick tape, matches and a funnel (optional) as shown in the photographs.

Set up your workspace! For this use a stable bench and put a few pieces of white paper on the bench for the sparkle powder!


Sh we begin???

Step 2

Now lets get started first off drill a hole with the size 4 drill piece in the middle of 1 bottle cap.

(NOTE: TO GET A CLEAN HOLE SET THE DRILL ON REVERSE IN THE HOLE AND MOVE THE DRILL BACK AND FOURTH)

Now get 7 sparklers and lay them out on the pieces of paper all on the same piece then with the pliers crush off all the sparkler material until there is only wire left.

(NOTE: DO NOT CRUSH THE SPARKLE POWDER, THROUGH MY EXPIERIENCE THE SPARKLE WORKS BEST WHEN IN CLUMPS NOT IN POWDER FORM!)


Step 4

With all the crushed up sparkle pout it into the bottle cap with no hole make sure it is filled right up to the top.

Now listen up to out the #*@! in the other bottle cap you need to put a piece of paper around the bottom bottle cap in a cylindrical form about 5-6 cm high
Then pour more sparkler composition into it then out the cap with a hole in it on top it should go right around the sparkle crap. When this is done take off the cylinder of paper and sticky tape the 2 bottle caps together.



Step 5

Now place the sparkler in the hole and push down to the bottom of both bottle caps, it should now look like the diagram below.



FINAL STEP

Now just light the sparkler and stand back, To light the sparkler I reccoment lighting a different sparkler then lighting the sparkler fountain fuse with the sparkler that you lit previously!

the sparkler get down to the bottom it will look like it isnt doing anything wait the maximum of 6 seconds and watch all the sparks shoot out. And yours should look something like my photo below.
