Ok this will be my 2nd egg (1st got erased because it was so bad..) I have bad spelling so don’t give me shit for it.
BAD @#@ FIREWORK=M80X2
Stuff to make it out of:
1. paper
2. 2 artillery shells (i know why not just light the artillery shell and throw it..well is it not as explosive)
3. hot glue
4. hot glue gun
5. a lighter (just incase the n00bs don’t get it)
1st.
This what a artillery shell looks like
Take it apart with a knife very slowly and be careful, drrr
2nd.
This is what should be inside:
The Bang is actuly called stars. Now what you need to do it put these powders in seperate containers for now. REMEBER TAKE APART TWO OF THE ARTILLERY SHELLS!
3rd.
Now that you have your ingredients separated and put alway, we will now make the body of the firework or the tube. Get a piece of normal paper and roll it many times around a marker (10 times at least). Then when rolled, tape the sides with scotch tape so the tube will held together.
5th.
Then have your hot glue gun nice and hot, and fill the bottom with it completely until the whole bottom is covered. MAKE SURE THE GLUE IS COMPLETLY DRY.
6th.
Now that the tube is done. Get the ingredients from before and put the black powder in it first, (all of it). Then get a colored pencil or something of the matter and compact the powder VERY tight. Then for some show i like to crush the stars and then put it in there also, making sure to compact it the same as the black powder. You can put the flash in there or you can save it for another project.
7th.
Now that the ingredients are in the tube and everything is as tight as it can be, u can stick the fuse in, get a screw driver and make a hole in the ingredients, and stick the fuse in it. I don’t like the fuse that comes on the artillery shell, they burn to fast, so look up a good slow burning fuse on rotteneggs.com woot woot!
Then use hot glue and put it inside the tube. LET IS DRY COMPLETELY BEFORE LIGHTING.
8th.
Now that you have completed this masterpiece, go out and enjoy it! Be very careful, it is EXTREMLY DANGEROUS, AND ILLEAGAL. Sorry for the sucky pictures, i have a cheap camera. And for the n00bs out there, to make a quality egg that people can read, copy and paste the egg into word and do all spelling and punctuation there.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT
I wanted to get a pic of it exploding but my camera was to damn slow...shit this what I got instead.
Apr 01, 2006 10:16 am - Obviously this isn’t a firecracker. This would be a firework seeing as this does not explode Simply look in the picture and see that the paper tube didn’t even explode. Plus it would be way better to throw the artillery shell. Where do you buy them anyways? 1* for effort and pics.
Apr 01, 2006 10:19 am - Still good job I understand, but not sure if it will work youve obviously tried it but its just smoking not exploding. You get a 3.
Apr 01, 2006 10:54 am - I used to buy artillery shells and they were the big ones. It was like three strapped together and they do explode and then it sprinkles down or whatever.
I liked the egg but I want to see a picture of it exploding or atleast tell me how big it is.
Apr 01, 2006 11:04 am - I wish i could get a pic of it, but there is fu$%ing burn ban in OKLAHOMA, and it is a $1000 fine..damn..uh to expain how big it is, if u placed it the ground, it would make a 10 ft circle of bright explostion...i might go a head and try not to get caught, and take a pic
Apr 01, 2006 3:28 pm - Pyro, why’d you make you name "Pyro", if you don’t know squat about pyrotechincs. Flash powder and black powder are EXPLOSIVE. The stars add extra effect to it.
Apr 04, 2006 2:13 pm - 4*. It’s pretty cool. I don’t think I’d use an artillery shell on it but it’s pretty cool. One thing though, you tell us that it’s really explosive and then take your picture from directly above the firework. That’s probably not too good of an idea.
Apr 05, 2006 3:10 pm - no dude, got a stand and mounted it in my garage, i itis 10 ft up on zoom, so i could of got the best shot, but my timer was to slow
Jan 18, 2007 8:31 pm - how big is the explosion wen u light the thing? and arent those shells suppose to be shot up into the sky and not on the ground?
