ok, my friend made an easy 10 bucks off me and anyone can do this scam/ money maker/ prank or whatever u wanna call it.
all u do is find a friend or whoever and tell them u will make a small wager with them. make it on either hockey, baseball, or maybe even football NOTHING ELSE!!! (this might only work in the U.S. beacause we are the only ones w/ those sports) Then tell them that the bet will entail each of u picking one team of the particular sport (it doesn’t matter which team either of u choose, u’ll still win. then tell them that throughout the season, u will keep track of each team’s scores, then at the end of the season (not including playoffs), u will add up the scores and whoever has the highest combined points wins the set amount.
now, here is the scam or whatever u wanna call it:
tell them that u think the team they selected or will select is so bad, that u will let them multiply their scores and u will still add ur scores.
sounds good for them.....but think for a minute

did u figure it out, all it takes is one shut-out for their team(which will happen to even the best team) and u are guaranteed to win the bet because anything multiplied by zero (0) is ZERO. the only possible way for u to loose is if ur team gets shut-out EVERY game which is practically impossible).
There, that is the “guaranteed to win” bet ...... Now go out there and make some money !!!!!!!

You dont get it. Say their team gets 5 points, then 2, so that multiplies to make 10, then 3, so that multiplies to 30, then 0, 30 x 0 is 0, then they get 2 points, 2 x 0 is still 0, then they get 5 points, multiplied by 0 its still 0. So they will end the season with 0.
Quite a smart idea, but youd have to wait till the end of the season and itd be a pain keeping track on scores. I gave it 4* cause I hadnt heard it beofre and it was well explained.
Would be easier just to do one of those bar tricks "I bet you a tenner I can drink this without touching the glass" or w/e.
