Sorry if its been posted already.
If you don’t know the hands of poker, go study them and come back.
Texas Hold’Em requires one deck, about 3-6 players, and a necessary, equal amount of chips for everyone.
B4 everything the blinds are posted.
Blinds:
~The first person left to the dealer posts the small blind.
~Then the player left from that player posts the big blind b4 the cards have been dealed. Everyone else is to post the blinds as well. Each player is dealt 2 cards.
During this the first betting starts but only happens when people bet some chips. You cannot bet lower than the small blind, only higher. When people bet and the betting round is done all the betted chips are set aside either in the middle or close to the River Cards. The person with the small blind bets first. Then the bet is passed left around the whole table to get everyone.
Betting:
~Call:If you bet $100(in chips) then the betting comes to someone else and they bet $200, you add an additional $100 to the pot, or Call their bet when the bet has come to you.
~Checking:If no one bets anything, they are checking which could mean that no one has anything or they are just checking to make you think that.
~Fold:If you either have nothing(not a good hand), you don’t want to play that round or if your put All In(when someone bets you all your chips), then you don’t play that round/throw your cards to the pile left of the rest of the deck w/ all the burned cards, or Fold.
The Flop:After the first betting ends, then the dealer Burns or folds one card to the folded pile of cards, then places 3 cards face up in the middle where everyone can see them. This is called the Flop.DON’T TAKE THE CARDS THEY ARE FOR EVERYONE.
With your cards in your hand and the cards shown that were from the flop, you have to try to make the highest hand that you can. If you know the hands of poker then try to get the highest hand you can which could be easy. Some players may lie about their hand or Bluff, these people usually bet high to scare other people.
Here is the ranking of the hands(lowest to highest):

I just used a diagram to show instead of text, too long.
Second Betting: Begins when the Flop has been dealt and ends when everyone has betted(obviuosly). Usually bets begin to increase since more cards are placed.
Third Betting: Dealer burns a card, then places another card with the flop cards, building the River. Now four cards are placed out which means that you can work with more cards to get better hands, but so can your opponents.
Fourth Betting(last betting): When the third betting is done then the dealer burns and places the last card making the River, or just the 5 cards that are placed to show everyone. Usually people bet a lot more in this betting period than any other since people have folded, leaving not that many players left to play.
Now that all that jazz is done then all players place their cards right side up to show who won that round. Person with the highest hand obviously wins the pot.
The game continues till one person is left with everyone else’s chips.
Some strategies:
~Low Hand:If you got a low hand and if everyone checks, just check also, no one knows what kind of hand you got and your not sure what kind of cards could pop up. If they start to bet little bets then just go with it, but if they start to bet high, fold your hand.
~High Hand:Bet some b4 the flop, then raise your bets each betting round.
~Looking for people with bad hands:Usually people will bet then check if they don’t have anything.
~People who cheat:This happens in online texas hold’em, but not too much in regular texas hold ’em. Either two or more people will constantly bet high, to get peoples play chips and telling their cheating partner that they have something good.
A good way to get good at this game is to practice playing by yourself, and to study the poker hands, it benefits a lot. |

2. Bad De5cription. You gotta assume you are talking to a moron who has no knowledge of the game.
3. To go with #2, you should have listed terms.
4. You dont know much about strategies.
5. You must be pretty bad at texas hold’em
